Chapter 77. My Fate
Polinel shot mom’s leg and is now wiggling from my grasp.
I let her go, not like I had the choice not to since I’m now scrambling to mom, kneeling in front of her and pressing my hands on her wound.
“So you do care,” I hear Polinel comment with a chuckle, but I’m too busy tearing a piece of my clothing and wrapping it around mom’s leg to at least stop the bleeding.
“Stand,” Polinel orders.
I turn and find her pointing her gun at me once more, forcing my obedience.
My hands raised over my head in surrender, I try to relax my breathing to no avail. And I don’t know if the breathing is exhaustion or if it’s just anger—anger at staring at mom’s bleeding leg.
Polinel doesn’t give a fuck about my deal anymore. Plus, she now knows my trick, so she’ll definitely try to kill mom righ
