I couldn’t handle anything that would make us go back to the drawing board. I was so close to knowing the main culprit. To unmask the woman deceiving us. Victor and I drove to the police station without wasting any time. He didn’t know how important this was for me, for us. The woman attacking in the shadows
“This…this can’t be…do you think she can write this” the so-called detective was insane to think I would believe his likes.
“I’m afraid this is what she wrote before she committed suicide…we found her hanging in her cell,” the detective whom Victor called Cruz said shaking his head. I looked at him for a while not believing anything. This was a lie. Beverly was only used in this. She wasn’t the mastermind like the confession said.
“How did she kill herself under your watch…are you doing your job or do you need some time off!” Victor said angrily. He had nothing to do with the legal work of policemen, unfortunately, this was too much.
