Fallon’s POV

[Flashback continues]

I looked around, trying to figure out a way to discard his partner and have him alone. I stole a drink from a couple who were too engrossed in making out to notice. I staggered toward my target with the drink in my hands.

A few seconds later, there was a shriek from his companion, followed by curses.

“I’m so sorry. I didn’t mean that.” The words slurred out of my mouth.

She looked at me with disgust. “You stupid drunk bitch. Look at what you’ve done. You’ve ruined my dress.”

“What? I honestly think it looks better this way.”
