Fallon’s POV

My new set of clothes arrived the next day, and so did my ball dress. Of course, Etan didn’t get me a ball dress. Nevertheless, the dress was still pretty.

I didn’t know how Etan knew my size, but he always got it right and he had quite the taste.

“So tell me, what exactly happens during the ball?” I asked Ashley as we made our way out of the dining hall.

“The elites mingle amongst themselves. There are usually elites from other regions, too. I hear this one will be special, as it’s supposed to officially mark the clan elder’s stepping down. You know the Salvatores are gods to other elites, so I believe all the elites from other regions will be here.”

True, the Salvatores were the most powerful elites in the Republic of Vespinara. Our republic was made up of seven regions which were run by seven elite clans.

Salvatore clan, Albertoz clan, Stoker clan, Valentine clan, Rivera clan, Vodrak clan, and Ravnos clan.
