Birthday Surprise (Part 2)

ALEXA’S POV

“ What are you doing here?” I unbelievably asked him on the other line.

( Like I told you earlier, I wanted to see you. So, here I am  )

“ Aish,” I simply replied. I did not know what I should feel seeing him. I wanted to feel happy because of what he did, but there was a part of me that wanted to lecture him because it was already late, and he needed to rest.

I came back to my senses when I heard his voice on the other line. I hurriedly closed the curtain and took a jacket because I was simply wearing my nighties. I ended the call since I would go to him. I immediately went down, but of course, I made sure that I did not create noise because my parents would scold me. Before I opened the door, I took a deep breath to compose myself and hide the happiness I felt because he was here. When I made sure I was already calm, I went outside the house and opened the gate.
