Elena’s POV
“A drunk driver known as Jones was returning from a party at which he had consumed more than his usual dosage of alcohol, he also happened to be driving a faulty car whose break had turned out to be defective.” Lord Adam’s eyes opened wider as he looked at us.
“Go on, we are following your story about the drunk asshole that decided to embark on a suicide mission,” I said and snorted.
“Must you always be so blunt?” Cass shook his head at me.
“He drives into an estate, knocks down, and kills Robinson.”
“Such a pity for poor Robinson, he was at the wrong place at the wrong time.” Cass let out an exasperated sigh.
“The bastard who went on a killing spree should be blamed for endangering the lives of others because of his stupidity.” I glared at Cass.
“And what exactly was Robinson doing outside by such late hour of the night, huh?” Cass fired at me.
“He was crossing the street at midnight to buy a pack of cigarettes,” Lord Adam
