As soon as the helicopter came to a stop on the helipad, the pilot immediately began the process of turning off the engines. I leaned forward to have a better look out the window, and I couldn't help but wonder where we were. It was impossible to see anything outside due to the wind and dust that were stirred up by the rotor blades.
