Chloe POV

Easton dropped me off at my apartment so that I could change my clothes before we went to the amusement park together. At first, he showed signs of reluctance. He claimed that he was terrified of extreme rides such as the Luna 360, the thunderbolt, and the cyclone roller coaster.

''You should know that my nephew is even braver than you are...'' I chuckled to myself and crossed my arms over my chest as I reclined farther in my chair. ''Even though he's just twelve years old, he's already experienced all of the most thrilling rides at the amusement park.''

''Don't compare me to your nephew, Chloe...'' he groaned, but his eyes smiled in enjoyment as he laughed at the comparison. ''I'm not the kind of person who gets amused by spinning myself around in dizzying rides. God, it's killing me...''
