Steel’s POV

I walked into my father’s office and took a seat in front of him.

“We need to talk.”

“You have my attention.” He responded as he turned his attention away from his computer.

I proceeded to tell him everything that Isabelle had gotten from Alexandra. From the man Elise had slept with to the confirmation that Elise’s father needs her to be involved with us. I finished off by telling him about the mentions of Elise’s grandfather.

“Wilson Tunt is involved in this?” My father raised a brow as he was confirming if he had heard me correctly.

“That’s what it sounds like,” I answered.

“I just don’t know exactly why he would want her to marry me so damn bad. He’s got money, he has his power, what else could he fucking want with us?”
