Zevara’s POV

‘Knock. Knock.’

A sharp knock came on the door, jolting me awake. Followed by Nina’s melodious voice.

“Zev….” she called.

I blinked my eyes open slowly and sighed in frustration.

I couldn’t sleep all through the night, so when I came back home after class, I decided to catch some sleep before the party later tonight.
