They entered the diner and found a table then the waitress came to take their orders. 

They continued their introductions while waiting for their orders to be filled.

 So far they have learned that Tony is a pharmacist who lives alone and hardly goes out so in his spare time he finds things online to occupy his time. 

After hearing this Rebecca giggled a bit and so did he because Rebecca experienced one of those things he does online in his spare time. Every now and then Tony reaches over his hand and holds Rebecca’s hand. 

This was very pleasing to her because her way more attractive friend who she was worried might catch his attention now and then did not even receive a second glance from him.

Rebecca could tell that he was genuinely into her and he was being honest because there was evidence that he was being truthful to her.
