 I stepped away from the window and moved through the house, toward my front door. I could still see him through the glass, preparing to cut my lawn. I stayed there for a moment, watching him, admiring the way he moved his body.

It was hard not to get wrapped up in him. He was so beautiful, with his brown hair and deep brown eyes and perfectly tanned skin from working outside all day. Just looking at him made my stomach flip and my heart flutter.

But I needed to stop staring and put my plan into motion. If I didn't, I would waste the entire day watching him, and then he would vanish just as quickly as he'd appeared.

The worst part of this was the not knowing. Not all young, strapping men were into older women such as myself. Even if I had kept myself tight and toned, it didn't mean they would find me attractive.

I was going to have to put myself out there, to be vulnerable, and if I got rejected it was going to sting. Usually I would be able to deal with it eas
