Crystina’s POV

It's been two weeks since I moved into the packhouse, and those two weeks have been the most silent of my life. I couldn’t say peacefully because my wolf was restless, and I wanted to block her back but decided against it. It wasn’t supposed to be normal; blocking my wolf twice in a few months might make me lose connection with her totally.

These past two weeks, I’d been staying at the apartment with Luka. He had insisted on sleeping on the couch instead of the bed. I didn’t bother to invite him to bed for the first few days, but when I couldn’t take it anymore, I asked him why he was punishing himself. He said it wasn’t a punishment. He told me he knew I hated him and he would only touch me or come to me if I asked him to.
