Chapter 6. That Feels Good

Briella’s jaw almost dropped as she left the room and followed the enticing aroma of her favorite sinigang from the kitchen. 

She had only left Braun for a few minutes to freshen up and change clothes, and he had already managed to cook three dishes. 

“Do you have any expected guests today?” she surprised the President. She had to hold her jaw and close it because it felt locked due to shock. 

“Today’s our wedding. Shouldn’t we be celebrating?” he replied with a smirk. 

“So, are you expecting someone to visit?” she repeated. 

He chuckled softly, and if she weren’t holding her jaw, it might have fallen off her face. His laughter was like sweet music that calmed her tired mind. 

“No, it’s just for the two of us, so we have to finish it,” he said.
