“Sis, is it that hard to admit the truth?” Jeydon interjected, unable to resist joining the conversation.
She could see the defiance in Megan’s eyes and the color draining from her face, but she remained silent, letting things unfold. She needed to calm down and not show her true emotions at that moment because Braun wouldn’t appreciate her getting angry; he would only worry about her.
