Chapter 12. Have a Good Time

"Poor little thing, stay with me." Penelope put it on the sofa and touched the dog's nose softly. She ran her fingers on its fur, "Though I saved you, you have to fight for yourself and recover soon."

"Purr..." It sniffed, lying there. "Well, don't be too touched." Penelope stooped, rubbing its face with hers, saying seriously. "There was a devil downstairs. Well, be good, or we'll both be kicked out of this house."

After the puppy was placed, Penelope changed her clothes that were covered with a lot of dog fur and went downstairs.

Warren was on the phone. Penelope ran to the kitchen to find her dinner.

"Where did you go today?" Mrs. Brown asked her as soon as she saw Penelope.

"Crystal Palace Triangle, it's a very interesting place!" Penelope smiled and uncovered the lid. She looked down and smelled the food, "The steak smells really good."

Mrs. Brown is amused by her childlike behavior.
