Chapter 102. Have You Eaten Lunch Yet?

As they talked, Penelope's heart was in turmoil. Suddenly, her phone rang. She saw it was a call from Daisy and immediately pressed the end call button.

"Why didn't you answer it?" Warren looked at her with suspicion.

"It's just a persistent insurance sales call. Very annoying," Penelope said, dismissing it with a wave of her hand.

"Have you eaten lunch yet?" He leaned down and kissed her lips.

He probably noticed the food on the table, prompting the question.

She nodded. "Not yet..."

"Let's go." He helped her up.

"Where to?" she asked.

"I'm treating you to a nice meal," he replied. The better Warren treated her, the more she wanted to kill Ross instantly.

Damn! Can she kill Ross tonight? Then she could marry Warren as a widow!

He gently patted her face and asked, "What's on your mind?"

Penelope paused for a moment, then smiled. "I was just thinking about what to eat."
