Brian carefully laid her down in the bed. Then he took off his tie and sat down beside her.

The light in the room was soft, bathing Diana’s face in a light glow as she slept under the delicate lace quilt. Her cheeks had a slight blush, and her eyelashes cast shadows on her fair cheeks. Brian's heart was melting. He could not help bending over her to get a bit closer.

Diana sneezed loudly and opened her eyes in a daze.
