Chapter 51. The Family Gathering

Isabella’s POV

We left for the airport early in the morning my gunshot wound was still healing but we were getting there. The bags we carried were too many and want to help carry some Tommy retaliated and I stepped aside as I didn’t want him to scold me for being too stubborn even when it wasn’t necessarily needed.

We drove to the airport with the help of Michael and Jackie who had been an essential part of our lives since that night and the police were yet to come back with the culprit who had done this to me although I knew to go had done it we needed enough evidence to hold it against her if not we were going to lose the case.

This journey wasn’t well planned as usual my mum and uncles loved last-minute preparation and we were on our way to my hometown for a family gathering.
