Chapter 119

Leah's POV

Tears rolled down my cheeks as I made my way toward the hospital exit. 

“Leah,” Asher called, making me stop on my track. 

I was so eager to get out of there that I forgot he was here with me. Turning to him, I watched him jog toward me.

“What's going on? Why is your dad here?” He asked before he noticed the tears on my face. “Are you crying? What's wrong? Please talk to me.”

“I just found out that my dad has been cheating on my mom,” I answered and his eyes widened in shock. “The child that woman delivered is my half-sibling.” 

“Leah, I'm so sorry.” He pulled me into a hug and I sobbed against his chest.

“Please just get me out of here.” 

He pulled away and led me out of the hospital building. We sat in his car in a comfortable silence and I closed my eyes recalling how my father claimed to be the baby's father and the doctor congratulating him on the birth of his son.

It made me a
