Chapter 129

Rhea's POV

The doctor discharged me from the hospital that evening and begged Leah on her way back to the palace not to create a scene. 

She didn't give me an assuring reply but I kept my fingers crossed that she would listen to me. 

When we arrived at the palace, we met King Estevan and Queen Carina in the living room.

“Rhea, thank God you are okay.” Queen Carina came to pull me in a hug. “We would have visited you in the hospital but Estefan was too angry at all of us and refused to let us see you.” 

“He was only trying to protect me,” I said to defend his actions. 

“I understand. Anyone in his shoes would have done the same.” She smiled at me. “And also, congratulations. You have no idea how excited I am.” 

“Thank you.” I smiled back at her.

“Mr and Mrs Knight, you didn't inform us that you were coming.” She turned to my parent. “Why don't you take a seat while I get your rooms prepared?”&nb
