Estefan's POV

I drove like a maniac to the palace and rushed into the living room where everyone was sitting.

“Where is she?” I asked, breathing heavily.

My father stood up with a dejected look on his face. “Prince Eugenio has her, and he won't release her unless I announce him to the Crown Prince.” 

My heart dropped at the mention of Prince Eugenio's name, and my shoulders slumped in defeat. After everything I didn't to save my family’s legacy, everything was going to go down the drain because I couldn't protect Rhea. 

If only I had chosen to let that maid go and follow Rhea to the hospital.
