Mirabelle’s POV
“He was the one that set the fire.” Morgan revealed.
The room spun like a hundred times in a row. I gripped the edge of the desk, my nails digging into the wood.
“No that doesn’t make any sense at all, Samuel is loyal to Noah. He has always been loyal. He wouldn’t–he couldn’t–”
“He didn’t have a choice.” Morgan cut in, his voice heavy.
“What do you mean he didn’t have a choice? Was he forced?” It almost came out sarcastically as a tear rolled down my cheeks.
“Natasha forced him, she held his wife and unborn child hostage. So it would make her record clear. He only did it to protect them.” Morgan said.
“But he could have come to me or to Noah at that. We would have done something about it.” I said.
“Yes he could have, but not when he had a wire tap on him, and Natasha could hear anything he was doing. She also had a bomb strapped to his wife, so it was his only chance.” Morgan explained.
