Chapter 35. Kidnappers

Khushi's POV

I was strolling across the garden after dinner.

"This CEO must be incredibly wealthy to have this enormous mansion and all the expensive items," I mumbled.

The night was calm, and I could hear the crickets singing. Bright light emanated from the half-moon in the sky.

However, a strange feeling gradually took over my mind.

"Something similar happened before. But when?" I uttered, trying to recall the time when I had been having a night like that. But again, my mind went blank. Before that vehicle crash flashed in my head again and made me feel ill inside, I gave up trying to remember anything.

I guess I'll have to wait to find out. I opted to continue walking after shaking those thoughts away with a sigh.

Out of nowhere, two hands gripped my arms and bent them behind them while a person came in front of me wearing a black cloak and a ghost mask on their face.
