Chapter 83. Waste of Time

Anna and Liam exchanged a glance and decided to leave to avoid a direct confrontation with Ethan.

However, Suzy was unwilling to leave.

Anna gave her a warning glare.

Knowing that she would rely on Anna in the future, Suzy didn’t dare to openly defy her command. Reluctantly, she followed them out.

Once outside, the three of them descended the stairs, and Anna called Ethan.

Ethan, who was deeply asleep, was awakened by the ringing of his phone. Afraid of disturbing Samantha, he immediately answered, deliberately lowering his voice, “What’s the matter?”

Feeling his intentional attempt to lower his voice, Anna felt irritated.

“I’m on the first floor of Chelsea Creek now. Bring Samantha to see me immediately.”

Without waiting for Ethan’s response, she hung up.

As the busy tone sounded from the phone’s other end, Ethan unconsciously furrowed his brows, looking at the still-sleeping Samantha. He gently covered her with the blanket.
