With only half of consciousness, the girl returned the baby's modest wave. A second later, she followed the steps of the woman who had already left the bedroom door.
“What do you want to ask, Mia? It seems really bothering you," Gabriella said when the secretary had managed to keep up with her speed.
“That … I think you can guess. Didn't Mister Julian often report to you?" Mia asked, successfully freezing the steps of the woman beside her.
With round eyes, Gabriella expressed admiration. "How did you know that?"
Pulling the corner of her lips, the girl replied, "I once overheard your conversation on the phone."
A second later, a sigh curled in the air. “Julian is reckless,” Gabriella grumbled before glancing at the slightly downcast girl. "Then, what do you want to ask?"
"May I ask when we have been in the backyard?" Mia
