Chapter 81. The Lie

Hearing that statement, the secretary's brows reshaped into a concave shape. "Has she completed the file?" Mia inquired in a hanging tone.

While continuing to chew, Julian nodded. "Yes. She sent it straight to my email.”

In an instant, the girl's chest grew hotter. In order to cover her anger, Mia immediately lifted the sandwich and devoured it in big bites.

"Do you like my bread?" Julian asked with round eyes. He didn't think his girlfriend could eat that much.

“Yes,” Mia said with her mouth full gagged. Despite the difficulty, she still tried to move her jaw.

Watching the secretary's passionate eating manner, Julian's smile spread even wider. "Then I'll get another recipe from Katniss," he mumbled, dousing gasoline on the fire burning in Mia's heart.

Not wanting the heat to escape from her mouth, the girl took another bite. With eyes closed, she prayed that she would come back to her senses.

"How could I love a man so insensitive?"
