Instead of being enthusiastic, Cayden furrowed his brows and looked at his mother. He seemed to convey something via telepathy.

"Then I guess someone will copy Max," the pale woman joked while curling her lips. "He won't be easy to get by women because of his cool attitude."

"Cool?" Julian objected as he did not like it when his brother was praised. “Cayden becomes like this because Max took him away for too long. The bond between us and him has become tenuous.”
