Chapter 75. Ambiguous Relationship

Annetta said, “Stay here and take care of Leo. I need to leave first as I have something to do.”

“Yes, Annetta! Mr. Powell will be here soon. We will take good care of Leo. Don’t worry!”

“Good, thank you for your hard work.”

Annetta left after she had finished speaking.

She was not too concerned about explaining herself to Ethan because she discovered he didn’t seem to get upset about rumours. He’d only become enraged if she made a mistake. She was still concerned about Ethan’s feelings, though.

She reasoned that if she made herself look terrible after beginning a business, she could prevent any scandals. Surprisingly, they could spread rumours about her despite her disfigurement as long as someone was out to get her.
