"Master Scott, I can't thank you enough," she said, hugging me.

"I didn't do anything special," I replied. "Julia thinks it's your karma for saving their lives. It's what you've earned for your bravery and care for your charges. Why don't you call your Mistress and let her know the good news."

"Don't you think I should wait until it's confirmed, Master Scott."

"Those things are pretty accurate. I think it's safe enough to tell her you at least have a positive result on a home pregnancy test, plus no more alcohol for now. You might also want to give up sparring. You'll need to talk to Doctor Sturgis and see if she has any other recommendation
