Chapter 42. Behind the Scenes

Aurora gulped. Never in her life did she hear Felix talking to her in this tone. So distant. And strangely so…calm. Well, Aurora knew it all too well that the calmer he is, the angrier he is. She wanted to reach his thoughts like she usually did but couldn’t. Tension filled the air as she felt chills coming to her neck, feeling goosebumps. 

“Why?” He asked. “Why did you do that?” Those words came out of his mouth like a bullet, making it clear to her that he chose her. He chose to believe that lying bitch instead of her. 

“Felix, listen to me-”

“I’m tired of understanding and listening to you always, Aurora. My goodness, can you let me rest? Now I see it clearly how I could never make you on the straight path.” He said.  “You’re being too much. Too much that I could handle.”

She can’t help but feel angry but she could;t even raise her voice because of how broken her heart is. “I know I am being too much, a brat and a bitch. Call me all you want
