We both stare at the gun we hadn't noticed in Alpha Lucien's hand and Zade sighs, then he stands up, letting my hand fall off his body.

"He would choose to die a coward. It is all he has ever been." He turns and walks out of the place. I followed him without a word.

When we walk out, there are more than ten small girls in the hall. They don't seem fazed by all the bodies lying around and that has me worried.

"We need to get out, now!" a man comes out running, holding the hand of the woman that I guess is my sister.

It was still crazy to think about.

"Wait, what?" Zade asks the man who nods.

"They released the gas again. I don't know where Angus is, we had him but when we went to check on the kids and came back, he was nowhere to be seen." He chatters off in a rush.
