Chapter 442. She Deserves It

Amidst Jean’s endless nagging, Serena returned to her room feeling uneasy. Sitting on the soft bed, she couldn’t shake off the feeling of guilt for causing trouble to Johnathan. She never expected him to wake up so early every day to buy fresh meat and vegetables for her, especially since he was already so busy with work and probably not getting enough sleep.

Even when Serena protested, Johnathan would just smile and continue doing what he was doing. She knew she had to behave, eat and sleep on time, and take care of herself if she wanted him to trust her.
