Chapter 829

At just past ten o’clock, Antonie finally fell asleep.

Looking at Antonie’s sleeping face, Serena reached out and pulled the blanket up for him. Then she looked up and inevitably met Elliot’s gaze.

“He fell asleep,” Elliot said.

“Let’s go outside and let him sleep peacefully,” Serena whispered.

“Yeah.” Elliot nodded.

Later, Serena gently got out of bed.

Elliot and Serena walked to the front of the door, one in front of the other.

Serena felt her hand tighten as she arrived at the doorway. She looked down and saw that his hand was already holding onto hers.

Without any hesitation, he dragged Serena out of Antonie’s bedroom and gently closed the door behind them before she could even process what was happening. The sudden act left her dumbfounded and speechless.

After leaving Antonie’s bedroom, Serena suddenly broke free from Elliot’s hand.

Elliot furrowed his brow. Serena said with a lowered head, “I…I’ll go upstairs first.”
