She was about to reply to her sister when they instantly spotted Carl in front of the door which leads to the room Maya was admitted.

   " Carl, how's Maya, had she woken up?" Clara rushed toward him and asked anxiously.

   Carl nodded back to Lily's greeting and turned to the anxious girl with a chuckle. " Mm. She's up, " he replied then walked to a nearby bench and sat down.

   Clara watched the small smile on his face with a frown and turned to her sister who also had her usual calm expression. ' Huh? what's going on.' She didn't have time to linger on her thoughts as Maya's scream suddenly erupted from the inside.

   " Maya, what is wrong. " Clara barged inside the room with her sister trailing behind her and rushed to her friend who was sobbing silently on the hospital's bed.

   Her eyes darted to Ken who had embraced her tightly with a cheerful smile and her frown deepened. " Maya?__"
