Finally, the next day, the tax collectors spent their time helping rebuild with the resources they had and with the number of people with special abilities. They were able to finish things up, enough for a number of Melevolians to have a place to rest.

They also promised to aid them with finances; they would help the country prosper and then form a peace treaty with them.

As they rebuilt, Ethan used the opportunity to find out about Marvin. He found out that Marvin was the leader of a small village, just off the coast of Chrysoverse’s capital city, so the sandstorm hit affected them pretty badly, but, considering that they were able to be notified on time, it gave them a head start on survival.

By the time they were done with most buildings, they looked at the time; it was heading to the afternoon period.

“We should go. We will be back later this evening to carry on. My people don’t do well in the afternoons, and your weather is unbearable.”
