Chapter 92

[Melevola]

The kids walked until they got to the edge of Melevola; it wasn’t exactly the edge but was close to it.

The place looked all dim with no street lights or home lights.

The only sound that could be heard was the sound of the wind blowing about the dead leaves that filled the streets and the sounds the leaves made as they walked.

The place was obviously deserted.

“We can’t go in there; it’s the forbidden side of the city. Some folks say that monsters still lurk in these parts; anyone that came in here never came out in one piece,” Michael said in panic.

“Could it have been because of Myriad?” Ivory asked softly.

“It could have been; it also could not have been, and I don’t think I’m willing to find out,” Michael replied.

“We are six people with dope abilities, coupled with two other normal folk that we can use as bait. What’s there to fear?” Kathrin said with a smirk. Emmanuel turned to look at her sternly, then looked away.
