Grimhold felt a wave of satisfaction; finally, everything was going according to his plans.

“Take samples of all of them,” Grimhold said to a woman holding some sort of medicine kit.

“What do you need it for anyway?” Lily asked curiously. She felt heavy-hearted for bringing them in but kept on telling herself that it was for the best, as comfort.
