Cameron's Point Of View

I turned on the bed, flinging my arms to the other side of the bed to reach for Davina but instead, I could feel nothing.

Immediately, I was up from the bed, scanning through the room. But she wasn't in. I searched the bathroom and the walk-in closet but she wasn't there.

I tried to mindlink her but it was closed off like yesterday. Two emotions I hadn't felt recently clawed their way into my chest. Fear and panic. I didn't know why but I was fucking worried, especially because she wasn't feeling so great last night.

As I sped downstairs, I mindlinked Gabi, and Lizzy asking about Davina and they hadn't seen her as well all morning.

I teleported to the witches’ quarters, hoping she was there but she hadn't even been there today, neither Benjamin nor Rhona had been seen today as well.
