Growing up, I thought I hated crying, and all types of emotional stuff. But these past few weeks, I just couldn't do without the tears especially not today of all days.
At this point, it was safe to say I had inherited this side from Mum as she couldn't seem to keep her tears at bay as well.
“It's not that far Davi. You could be there with a snap of your fingers if you want and besides, we'll be seeing her in a few days,” Dad said from our left as I pulled away from Mum's hug, wiping my wet face.
“Dad's right, we should save our tears for another day,” I joked and she chuckled, wrapping her arms around Dad and he pulled her into his arms.
