Chapter 75

Asher and I took the car, we were almost at Mum's apartment. My gaze was outside the window, watching the buildings as we sped by.

I couldn't deny it, I was angry. Since I found out more about myself, I have felt nothing but rage and resentment whenever I think about Mum. That was one of the reasons why I hadn't gone to confront her yet.

I couldn't believe she knew exactly what I was all these years, and instead, she hid the truth and treated me worse than an enemy. I had a lot of questions grazing through me. So many questions that I just hope for her sake and mine, she tells me the whole truth.

"Do you want me to come inside with you?" His fear and concern were evident in his gaze. I loved the concern, but I could handle my mum alone.
