I had been doing a fantastic job of evading all my bullies for two weeks now and I planned to keep stretching the record for as long as I could.

I entered the class as late as possible despite getting an earful of sermons from the surprised profs who would claim that I was beginning to become a tardy rebel and exited first too, even before the teacher!

The astonished teachers had started to get used to my strange behaviour and after many disrespectful pushes with my fat waist, I used to squeeze out of the classroom before the teacher could even step out of the doorway.

“Run along with Mr. Stone,” the professor of Advanced Optics grumbled when the bell rung and let me run out of the class first.
