Chapter 43. Acceptance

San’s POV

Ryder never came back but Aira, Chester and Jax came to my rescue and when they saw me sobbing hysterically with my hand clutching my flaring up chest, they immediately rushed me to their pack’s infirmary.

“MATE!” I shrieked out as I desperately clutched my chest longing for Ryder to come to me. “I WANT MY MATE,” I cried out but only Aira looked down at me sadly while clutching my hand in silent support.

“That asshole,” Jax breathed out angrily. “Inform Mom about everything Chester. Aira and I are here with San,” he ordered and Chester nodded in agreement while giving me one last look of worry before darting out towards the Alpha’s high office.

“Stay strong San,” he had whispered and dashed back towards the pack house and that is the last memory I remember that was of watching Chester’s retreating back before I blacked out despite Aira and Jax’s protests and frantic shakes.
