Ryder’s POV

“You’ve got to be kidding me!” Kris huffed when he saw San all geared up.

“Shut up, Kris! You knew this day would come sooner or later,” San rolled her eyes.

“Yeah but I didn’t know “soon” meant tomorrow when you called me up yesterday!!” Kris wailed.

“What you are about to do is dangerous, San,” Chester warned as he strapped a few weapons to himself too.

“Anything involving Reed is dangerous, Chester. This has to be done sooner than later or else, Eric will strike faster and quicker than us,” San replied.

I loved it when she was in Alpha mode.

Made me want to just keep watching her all the time- non stop.

She is so cute.

Sigh!

“Snap out of it, lover boy,” Ness said as she snapped her fingers in front of me making the others laugh. “Try concentrating on the mission rather than San,” she smugly said and I glared at her but what she said was true.

I had embarrassingly gone into daydreaming mode again.
