San’s POV

“Dad, we need to close the tunnel between Rylot and my room. Alpha Draven has sent assassins through that route,” I said as I plopped down on the couch of my Dad’s office with a can of soda in my hand while Ryder sat on the other end.

“How do you know?” Dad asked as he signed a few documents as the outgoing Alpha.

I slapped my hand on the table and withdrew it minus the scroll. Dad picked it up and raised his brow.

“Who wrote this?” he asked.

“It is one of my spies,” I said and Ryder looked at me in astonishment but quickly recovered. “I have a dozen of them in Draven’s land. Seems like he is one of those sent on the mission,” I shrugged.

“And why are you so relaxed when there are unwanted wolves roaming loosely around in our pack?” Dad asked while peering down his eyes from his reading glasses.
