Chapter 17. Mated

Zara’s POV

My breathing stopped for a while and my heart hammered like mad.

“I have been waiting for this moment for so long, Zara!” he rasped as he turned me around 180 degrees and caught me in his embrace.

I gasped as I heard that musical, familiar voice.

I swear I will go rogue if this turns out to be a dream or a stupid joke.
