Chapter 21. Memories

Zara’s POV

“Dad, you knew about Jax all these years, didn’t you?” I asked as I pursed my lips.

“Yes and incidentally, I knew it even before Jax when Kai was pregnant with you, Sweetheart,” he admitted.

“You did not tell me,” I accusingly said as my voice broke out and eyes brimmed with tears. “You knew what I was going through, Dad,” I sobbed.

“I think you will have a different view when you will know what Jax went through all these years. You are true mates, Zara. Close your eyes and go through his memories. You will know everything,” he advised and that’s what I did.

I gently closed my eyes shut while tears streamed down my face.

Each tear drop brought about a different memory and I witnessed, felt and heard each and every painful memory of Jax’s waiting period.
