Chapter 27. Jungle Bungle

Aira’s POV

“You did not need to endanger your life for me, baby,” Danielle woefully said as he hugged me from behind possessively, as if that very stance could protect me from everyone and everything in the world.

We were in my dorm before we made way for our stay in the Zorean Pack.

“Don’t worry, Your Highness,” I teased. “Samantha, Zane and Aunt Nyssa are securing your getaway as well as that of the other slaves,” I divulged. “I can’t keep my King in danger,” I whispered.

“King, huh? Only yours?” he teased back while pecking my hair and then running his nose lower along my neck.

“Uh huh,” I breathed out as we swayed in sync to a nonexistent, mental music of our own.

“So possessive,” he rasped as his lips inched dangerously close to the mating spot by my neck while his hands naughtily tantalized my skin under my top.

“Only for you, mate,” I replied back and he wasted no time in capturing my lips in a loving kiss.
