“Sorry Alpha Stone, sorry Alpha Arrow,” the pack doctor, Ingrid’s doctor son, Ashton said as he looked up at us with sad eyes and lips curving down. “You guys are not pregnant yet,” he announced and our hearts sank when we saw the red negative stamp on the test reports.

Kyler gripped my hand tighter as I sat on the inspection bed with dangling legs while Mom and Kai looked at us worriedly.

“It is ok,” Mom whispered to us while comforting us both in her hug. “You guys can still get that factory mill running and produce some fine looking grand kids for me,” she tried to cheer us up.

“I am sorry Alpha Zoe but Samantha can’t have kids any time soon,” Ashton said in an upset voice and settled down on his chair to type the report while the rest of us took our seats in front of him too.
