“I want to tell you something, Kai. It is about being a dragon’s mate,” he said, seriousness heavily laced in his voice.

“Uh hun,” I encouraged him to speak up. “What about it?” I asked.

“The mark on your neck is my werewolf’s mark,” he said while pointing towards my neck. “However, you still don’t have my dragon’s mark,” he added.

“Oh! So you have to bite me again? You could have done that today morning, Ty!!” I exclaimed.

Ty chuckled and kissed me again.

“You are adorable,” he chuckled again.

“Hey stop that,” I whined but secretly I loved it when he called me something lovingly. Made my wolf go all love sick too.

“It’s not like mating between werewolves, baby. It is different,” he said.
